Gunslinger (September 23 - December 23)

Client: Professional Game Production class

Project Description: It was a big team project (around 25 people) where we as a class simulated a professional game studio. My role was junior artist and marketing lead. As a class with a strict hierarchy we had to make a digital version of a board game called Gunslinger. I contributed a couple assets, marketing documentation and almost all for in-game UI art.

Skills Used: 3D modeling, 2D illustration, UI design, Marketing, Documentation writing

Issues Faced: It was a big team project, so there were a lot of communication problems and issues. I didn’t have a lead role, however I was able to moderate this conflict and helped to normalize the workflow, while one of the producers was absent. Also I had to self-educate myself in Illustrator and Blender, by asking my leads for advice as well as looking for information on the Internet.

Project Result: We successfully made a working prototype by the due date. However, I’m not really happy with the overall result, but proud of my contribution to this project.
